Interviews

This section will present a series of interviews with K Records personnel — including Calvin Johnson and Candice Pedersen — conducted specifically for this archive. The interviews will address the origins of the International Pop Underground series, the curatorial decisions behind individual releases, and the broader cultural context of the Olympia, Washington independent music scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
